These Terms of Service (the "Terms") apply to PPT AI, the web-based AI presentation creation service available at https://ppt.sophoninc.com and related pages, features, templates, exports, and support services (collectively, "PPT AI" or the "Service").
PPT AI is operated by Sophon LLC ("Sophon", "we", "us", or "our"). These Terms apply to PPT AI even if this page is linked from, or hosted on, another Sophon-owned domain such as https://sophoninc.com. They do not apply to unrelated Sophon products unless those products link to these Terms.
These Terms form a binding legal agreement between you ("you" or "your") and Sophon LLC regarding your access to and use of PPT AI. By accessing or using PPT AI, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use PPT AI.
1. Use of the Service
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to access and use PPT AI for lawful purposes.
You are responsible for your use of PPT AI, your account, your User Content, and your compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
2. Eligibility and Accounts
You must be at least 13 years old to use PPT AI. If the law in your region requires a higher age for consent to online services, you may use PPT AI only if you meet that age requirement or have valid consent from a parent or legal guardian.
If you create an account, you must provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Please notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
3. User Content and AI Output
"User Content" means prompts, instructions, documents, PDFs, images, links, templates you select, uploaded files, source materials, presentation drafts, edits, exports, and other materials that you submit to, import into, create with, or process through PPT AI.
You retain ownership of your User Content. You grant Sophon LLC and our service providers a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, process, transmit, modify, display, and use User Content as needed to provide, operate, secure, support, and improve PPT AI and to comply with these Terms and applicable law.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, and to the extent permitted by applicable law, you may use the presentation outputs generated for you by PPT AI for your personal or business purposes. You are responsible for reviewing output before using or sharing it.
AI-generated output may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, offensive, or similar to output generated for other users. We do not guarantee that output will be unique, error-free, legally compliant, non-infringing, or suitable for any particular purpose.
You represent and warrant that you have all rights, permissions, and lawful bases needed to submit User Content to PPT AI and to use any output you create with the Service.
4. Web Research, Links, and Third-Party Sources
PPT AI may offer optional web research, URL import, source summarization, or similar features. Third-party sources may be inaccurate, incomplete, unavailable, outdated, or subject to third-party rights and terms. You are responsible for reviewing source materials, citations, and generated claims before relying on them.
5. Templates, Assets, and Exports
PPT AI may provide templates, layouts, fonts, images, icons, charts, design elements, and other assets. Some assets may be owned by us, licensed from third parties, generated by AI, or made available from public or third-party sources.
Your right to use templates and assets may be subject to license limits, plan limits, export limits, attribution requirements, or third-party terms. You may not extract, resell, redistribute, or use templates or assets separately from presentations created through PPT AI unless we expressly allow it.
6. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to use PPT AI to:
- Violate any applicable law, regulation, contract, or third-party right.
- Upload, generate, publish, or share unlawful, infringing, harmful, deceptive, defamatory, obscene, discriminatory, hateful, violent, or abusive content.
- Upload or process content that you do not have the right to use.
- Upload malware, spyware, or code intended to damage, monitor, disrupt, or interfere with any system.
- Misrepresent your identity, affiliation, source materials, or generated content.
- Collect, process, or disclose personal information without proper rights, notices, and consent.
- Use PPT AI to create spam, phishing, scams, impersonation, misleading advertising, or manipulative content.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, scrape, crawl, overload, disrupt, bypass, or compromise PPT AI or related systems.
- Circumvent access controls, usage limits, payment systems, content filters, or security measures.
- Use automated scripts, bots, or similar tools to access the Service in a way that exceeds ordinary human use or harms the Service.
We may suspend, restrict, remove content, or terminate access if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, created legal or security risk, or used PPT AI in a harmful way.
7. Plans, Credits, Payments, and Subscriptions
PPT AI may offer free, paid, trial, subscription, credit-based, or usage-based features. Pricing, usage limits, renewal terms, cancellation options, and included features may be shown at checkout, in the Service, or on a pricing page.
Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers. Your payment, renewal, cancellation, and refund rights may be governed by the payment provider's terms and policies in addition to these Terms. Unless required by law or expressly stated otherwise, fees are non-refundable once paid.
We may change plans, features, limits, prices, or availability from time to time. Changes will apply prospectively unless otherwise stated or required by law.
8. Marketing and Promotions
PPT AI does not currently display third-party ads in the Service. We may promote PPT AI through external advertising channels, search ads, social ads, referral campaigns, or other marketing campaigns.
Our Privacy Policy explains how marketing cookies, analytics, attribution, conversion measurement, remarketing, and opt-out choices work. You are responsible for reviewing the Privacy Policy before using PPT AI.
9. Privacy
Your use of PPT AI is governed by our Privacy Policy for PPT AI. The Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information related to PPT AI, including User Content, cookies, analytics, advertising, and privacy choices.
10. Third-Party Services
PPT AI may include, link to, or interact with third-party services, including AI model providers, hosting providers, analytics providers, marketing and attribution partners, payment processors, search providers, template or asset providers, export tools, and linked websites.
Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party content, services, policies, availability, security practices, or errors.
11. Intellectual Property
PPT AI, including its software, design, interfaces, features, workflows, templates, branding, logos, trademarks, service marks, documentation, and other materials, is owned by Sophon LLC or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property and other laws.
Except for the limited rights granted in these Terms, we do not grant you any rights in PPT AI or our intellectual property. You may not remove, obscure, or alter proprietary notices, branding, or legal notices in the Service.
12. Feedback
If you provide suggestions, ideas, bug reports, comments, or other feedback about PPT AI, you grant us the right to use that feedback without restriction or compensation to you.
13. Disclaimers
PPT AI is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, and reliability.
We do not guarantee that PPT AI will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, compatible with every browser or device, or that defects will be corrected. We are not responsible for data loss, file corruption, presentation errors, AI errors, service interruptions, network failures, browser issues, or problems caused by third-party services.
You are responsible for backing up important files and reviewing presentations, facts, citations, legal claims, financial claims, medical claims, professional advice, and other important content before using or sharing it.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Sophon LLC and our affiliates, officers, directors, employees, contractors, licensors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenues, data, goodwill, business opportunities, or business interruption arising from or related to PPT AI or these Terms.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability for any claim arising from or related to PPT AI or these Terms will not exceed the amount you paid to us for PPT AI in the twelve months before the claim arose, or USD 100, whichever is greater.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some limitations may not apply to you.
15. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Sophon LLC and our affiliates, officers, directors, employees, contractors, licensors, and service providers from and against claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from or related to your use of PPT AI, your User Content, your output, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
16. Termination
You may stop using PPT AI at any time. We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to PPT AI if you violate these Terms, create risk or legal exposure, fail to pay required fees, or if we discontinue PPT AI or any part of it.
Termination does not affect obligations that by their nature should survive, including intellectual property, payment obligations, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and dispute provisions.
17. Changes to PPT AI or These Terms
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue PPT AI or any feature at any time, with or without notice, subject to applicable law. We are not liable for modifications, suspensions, discontinuation, or unavailability of the Service.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and may provide additional notice where required. Your continued use of PPT AI after an update means you accept the updated Terms.
18. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles, unless applicable consumer protection laws require otherwise.
Before filing a claim, you and we agree to try to resolve the dispute informally by contacting each other. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it will be resolved through binding arbitration in Delaware, United States, unless applicable law requires another forum or grants you non-waivable rights.
19. Miscellaneous
If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later. You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, financing, or transfer of assets.
